

Burchard V. Martin - Partner
Burt Martin, Sr. is the senior partner of
the firm, and has been in that role for
over 30 years. Burt practices primarily
in the areas of Medical Malpractice,
Insurance Litigation, Products Liability
and Construction Litigation.
Burt has over 40 years experience in
insurance defense litigation, having
tried over 500 cases in his career. He
has extensive experience in all areas of
personal injury and professional
negligence matters, as well as
insurance coverage cases.
Burt is a graduate of Villanova
University School of Law in 1958, where he was a member of the Law
Review, finishing second in his class. Burt began his career with the firm
immediately thereafter, and was admitted to the Bar of the State of New
Jersey and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey and U.S. Court of
Appeals, Third Circuit in 1960. He was admitted to the Bar of the United
States Supreme Court in 1976.
Burt holds the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell, Peer Review
Rating "AV". This rating indicates that Burt has been rated very high to
preeminent by his peers for performance, and given the General Ethics
Standard rating of very high.
Burt has been recognized for his achievements as a litigator. He is listed in
the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys. He has been listed in "The Best
Lawyers in America" since 1983. Burt was also selected to be a Fellow in the
prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers (State Chairman, 1982 and
1983), whose members consist of less than 1% of trial lawyers through the
country. He has received the Honorable Peter J. Devine award by the
Camden County Bar Association for lifetime achievement. He received the
Trial Attorneys of New Jersey Award For Distinguished Service To The Cause
Of Justice in 1987. Burt has been a Lecturer at seminars on trial advocacy,
and has participated in vignettes on medical malpractice, personal injury, and
wrongful death actions for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Education,
required training for New Jersey licensed attorneys. He has also lectured at
the Annual Meetings for the Camden County and the New Jersey State Bar
Association.
Burt is a member Camden County, New Jersey State and American Bar
Associations. He also is a member of the New Jersey Trial Lawyers
Association, the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, the International Association
of Defense Counsel, the New Jersey Defense Association and the American
Board of Trial Advocates.
Burt is a lifetime member of the Board of Consultors of Villanova University

Bruce M. Gunn - Partner
Bruce Gunn has been a valued
member of the firm for 35 years. He
concentrates in the areas of Insurance
Coverage actions, Municipal Law, Tort
Claims Act claims, Personal Injury and
Subrogation and Civil Rights litigation.
Bruce is a graduate of The Ohio State
University School of Law in 1970.
Bruce joined the firm shortly after
returning from his tour of duty in the
Army. Bruce has been both a
dedicated litigator and public servant
for many years. Bruce is a retired Lt.
Colonel in the United States Army
Reserves, was the Mayor of the
Borough of Riverton, New Jersey for 8
years, and served a councilman in Riverton for more than 20 years. He
currently is the Borough of Riverton Solicitor.
Bruce is a member of the Camden County, New Jersey State and American
Bar Associations, the New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association, the New Jersey
Defense Association and the American Arbitration Association.
Bruce has extensive experience in the area of Alternative Dispute
Resolution. Bruce is an approved mediator as well as an approved arbitrator
in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the
Superior Court of New Jersey, and has had great success in resolving
disputes in those forums.

Burt graduated from Villanova

After a brief stint with a personal injury
law firm, Burt has handled cases in all
areas of personal injury, including
employment discrimination,
construction accidents, product liability,
trucking accidents, and Tort Claims Act
matters at the firm. He was admitted to
practice law in New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, and United States District Court, District of New Jersey in
1986, and is also a member of the bar of the United States District Court,
Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the
Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Burt has also been recognized by his peers for his preeminent abilities and
ethics with an "AV" Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Burt was also
named as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in the area of personal injury in New
Jersey Monthly Magazine.
Burt is a member of the Camden County (Environmental and Commercial
Litigation Committees), the New Jersey State and American Bar Associations,
the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research
Institute; Justinian Society, the New Jersey Defense Association, the
Association of the Federal Bars of New Jersey, and has served as an

Burt was also an adjunct instructor at Burlington County College, teaching

William J. Martin - Partner
Bill Martin has been a partner with the
firm since 1991. Bill specializes in the
areas of Civil Rights claims,
employment discrimination litigation,
Insurance Coverage actions, and
personal injury litigation.
Bill has extensive experience in both
the trial and appellate courts. He has
extensive experience in all areas of
personal injury, professional
negligence matters, and insurance
coverage. He has handled appeals in
the Superior Court of New Jersey,
Appellate Division and the United
States Court of Appeals for the Third
Circuit. In addition, in 2001, he was successful in changing the law which
existed for over 150 years in New Jersey regarding tolling of wrongful death
actions for claims by the decedent's minor children in the landmark case of
LaFage v. Jani, 166 N.J. 412 (2001).
Bill is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law in 1988, where he was
the Chairman of the Moot Court Board. He then was the Law Clerk to the
Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez in the United States District Court for the
District of New Jersey in 1988-89, before joining the firm. Bill was admitted to
the Bar of the State of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court in 1989, and
the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1991. He was
admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1992.

Richard C. Bryan - Partner
Rich joined the firm in 1998 and quickly
moved to the status of partner in
2004. Rich practices in the area of
Personal Injury, Construction
Accidents, Employment Law and
Insurance/Contractual Indemnity
Claims.
Rich graduate from Widener University
School of Law in 1997. He was
admitted to the Bar of the State of New
Jersey, the United States District Court
for the District of New Jersey in 1997.
He also is a member of the Bar of the
United States Court of Appeals for the
Third Circuit and the United States
Supreme Court in 2001.
Rich has handled many complex cases, including construction accidents
which also involve claims of personal injury as well as insurance coverage
and contractual indemnity by contractors. Rich has been successful in
obtaining coverage and indemnity for his clients for contractual claims as well
as additional insured status for Loading and Unloading operations. Rich also
handles LAD employment discrimination actions on behalf of the employer in
both the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights and the Superior Court of New
Jersey.
Rich was recently named as a 2007 Rising Star New Jersey Super Lawyer in
the area of personal injury in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. He is in
Strathmore's Who Who's in Attorneys. Rich is a member of the Camden
County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the
American Bar Associations, and a member of the New Jersey Defense

Todd M. Parisi - Associate
Todd joined MGM in September 2006,
after he finished his clerkship for the
Honorable Mary Eva Colalillo, P.J.S.C.
in the Superior Court of New Jersey,
Law Division, Camden County. Todd is
a graduate of Rutgers University
School of Law-Camden, Class of 2005.
He was admitted to practice in the
State of New Jersey and the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in
December 2005.
Since starting with the firm, Todd has
been involved in a vast array of
litigation matters, including employment
discrimination actions, insurance
coverage actions, and construction
litigation. He has appeared before
numerous trial courts in several counties on motions.

Diane joined the firm on September 4,
