Burt Martin graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 1986. He was admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1986. He worked at a personal injury law firm for before joining Martin, Gunn & Martin in 1987.

Mr. Martin has vast experience in litigation matters involving personal injury, employment discrimination, insurance coverage, construction accidents, product liability, commercial litigation, automobile and trucking accidents, and Tort Act Claims. He was admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 1986, and is also a member of the bar of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

He has received an "AV" Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers, Editions 2008-2010.

Mr. Martin is a member of the Camden County (Environmental and Commercial Litigation Committees), the New Jersey State and American Bar Associations, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute; Justinian Society, the New Jersey Defense Association, the Association of the Federal Bars of New Jersey, and has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and on the American Arbitration Association's
No-Fault Advisory Council.

He has served as an arbitrator in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey, and was also an adjunct instructor at Burlington County College, teaching business law.
